There’s Not a Cry

Previously recorded by the Talley Trio.

Written by Ray Scarbrough

Every cripple that came to you
walked away straight with legs that were new.
The leper, the blind man that called on your name,
you answered their cries
they were never the same.

There’s not a cry
you will not hear,
Sin has no trace
you cannot erase.
There’s not a flaw
you won’t disappear.
There’s not a cry
you will not hear.

Time & again I’ve come to you
after my sin when I’ve been untrue.
When self infliction casts me down to the floor.
You pick me up
that’s why I so adore… you.
