Perfect Stranger

Written by Michael Waddle

He was a perfect stranger
Nobody knew His name
Nobody knew where His home was
Nobody knew why He came
But for a world that was dying
He had the perfect plan
More than a perfect stranger
He was The Perfect Lamb

Whispers were heard in the temple
It was the talk on the street
Who was this latest Messiah
When would the Elders He meet
Was He another new prophet
Predicting truth for a price
They didn’t know that He came as
The perfect sacrifice
Don’t let Him leave you a stranger
Don’t turn away to depart
He wants a personal friendship
He wants to know you by heart
Your life will be changed forever
Trust in His promise and be
Living with this perfect stranger
In perfect harmony
