I’m Going Through
When I started this journey so many years ago,
I decided to follow the crimson stained road,
Although I have stumbled and struggled along
I’m still determined that I’ll make it home.
I’m going through, yes, I’m going through
By faith that mountain before me must move
Lord you promised if I would trust you that victory I’d find,
So I’m going through with your hand in mine.
Sometimes this way gets cloudy and drear,
The midnight hour brings me tear after tear
But like Paul and Silas I lift my hands and start to sing,
Come morning those shackles give way to such sweet relief.
Lord you promised If I would trust you that victory I’d find,
So I’m going through, I’m going through,
Oh, I’m going through with your hand in mine.
