Verse 1:
The king summoned Daniel to the lion’s den
Everyone believed there was no hope for him
To the King Daniel’s knees would never bow or bend
Just like a meal thrown on a table
They cast him in the cave where the lions lay
And left him to be eaten and devoured that day
They sealed it with a stone and then just walked away
But God! God was able!
Verse 2:
Fast forward to the little town of Bethany
Where Mary and her sister were in agony
They sent word to the Healer come quickly please
Their request seemed to be fatal.
But Four days later Jesus finally would arrive
And Martha told Jesus Lazarus has dies
The tomb was seal where Lazarus now laid inside
But God! God was able!
Verse 3:
Now travel to the Garden of Gethsemane
Where Betrayal of a friend leads to Calvary
And God’s Redemptions story can be clearly seen
From the cross back to the stable
The sky grew dark, the earth quaked, the veil was torn
Some final words, three rusty nails, a crown of thorns
And Mary and others left the tomb to mourn
But God! God was able
CHORUS:
God saved Daniel from the lion’s den
Lazarus walked out when Jesus called on him
Jesus was dead but in the three days He lived again
But God! But God! But God!
God is able to provide all grace
Exceedingly, abundantly He’ll make a way
When troubles rise and your low on faith
But God! But God! But God!
God is able
