Verse 1
When Jesus made his debut
it didn’t make the front page news.
But the prophets told the story;
By his death he paid our dues.
He received no honor as he cast away our sin.
But he left us all a treasure;
And he’s coming back again.
Chorus
He’s makin’ a comeback
in the twinklin’ of an eye.
So be ready when he splits the eastern sky.
All aboard the Master’s calling
& we’ll bid this world good-bye.
He’s makin’ a comeback
in the twinklin’ of an eye.
Verse 2
There they stood at his ascension;
How their hearts were filled with pain.
As they watched him rise to Glory,
two men in white proclaimed;
Why stand ye men agazing
& stand watching ’til days end.
For this Jesus you see going,
well he’s coming back again.
