Death reached out to Lazarus
And it made an awful sting;
For Martha & Mary;
He was their everything.
But their loss turned into a win;
For Jesus raised their brother
and Lazarus lived again.

The sting of death has passed away;
Proven in an empty tomb
There’s no victory in the grave
No one’s in that vacant room.
Behold where Lazarus/Jesus rested;
The place they lay his head.
He’s alive today;
And the sting of death is dead.
2nd
Jesus cried it’s finished;
Then he bowed his head & died.
His life iust seemed diminished:
when death’s sting had closed hie eves.
But soon his tomb was opened
by an angel that replied,
Jesus lives today
and the sting of death has died.
