Verse 1
Just a little country church, down a winding dusty road
Any time the doors were opened, we were there
Sitting in the same spot, always on the third row
Blessed by what the preacher had to share

Verse 2
I remember all-day singin’s, and dinner on the ground
Revivals for a week, or maybe two
But my favorite memory is the brand-new life I found
Sitting on that dear old worn out pew

Chorus
Years of songs and sermons and times of praying through
The fellowship was sweet and the testimonies too
My life was changed forever when I listened to the truth
And I knelt before the throne beside that old worn out pew

Verse 3
I pray my children’s children will have their favorite seat
Where they’ll hear about the Savior and His grace
Making precious memories where their own church family meets
Finding Jesus in that special place
