I’ve seen the sun break open and spill down mountain peaks,

Been awestruck at the colors of the sunset on a beach,

Stars look like scattered chaos as I gaze from down below.

Yet perfectly positioned, held in place by God alone.

Infinite in wisdom, abounding in great love.

Creator and Sustainer, Beginning and the End,

The Healer and Defender, a true and faithful Friend,

I known a heart to be transformed when Jesus entered in,

Watched light reach in the darkness of my shattered life of sin.

When hopeless desperation starts to whisper in my ear,

Truth shouts back and answers, “Where there’s love, there is no fear!”
