I have been young,
and now I’m old,
But I have not seen,
The righteous hungry, or cold,
God always makes a way,
When I kneel down and pray,
The steps of a good man, are ordered by God

His Word is a lamp, to light the path,
That my feet should trod,
And if the light grows dim,
I just look up to Him,
The steps of a good man,
Are ordered by God
When life seems so cruel,
And the way gets rough,
You can’t take anymore,
You’ve had enough,
Oh, but just when it seems,
You’ve lost sight of your dreams,
The steps of a good man,
They are ordered by God!
So I’ll keep the cross in sight,
I won’t look to the left or the right,
I’ll keep my head held high,
Though I stumble I won’t turn aside!
